CUSTOMER SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE

Our Toronto office is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) who will be responsible to provide support and maintain an enthusiastic, positive user experience for external clients from within a support team environment.  Your scope will entail front line/1st tier support and to manage a fast-paced queue of support inquires and requests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages and monitors support queues and requests through IT support ticketing system and adheres to company policy as it pertains to response times to clients
  • Interacts with external customers using layman terminology to ensure a common understanding of the issue and a swift resolution
  • Participates in providing training to customers as required (i.e. new products/versions) using friendly approach and excellent phone manner
  • Documents troubleshooting and problem resolution steps
  • Provides feedback from customer users to product development team
  • Identifies and assigns bugs in software to appropriate internal development team
  • Takes ownership of technical issues and works with developers to resolve more advance issues when necessary

SKILLS

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in customer service
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Ability to remain clam under pressure
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills and excellent phone manner
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Work well in a team environment as well as individually
  • Self-motivated
  • High attention to details
